How do I add to the shopping cart?
You can add to the shopping cart basket directly from the products thumbnail page or from the detailed page of a product. Next to the main image of every product there is a box titled "add to cart", within this box there will be a button which you can click on to add this item to the basket.

How do I know my item has been added to the shopping cart?
Once you have clicked on the "add to cart" button to place the item in your shopping cart basket, your page will refresh and the item will be added to your cart. You can then locate the shopping cart basket in either side columns of the online store or the link to "Edit Cart" in the top menu navigation bar. Your items will be listed in the basket, you can also edit them further from here.

How do I get to the checkout?
First locate the shopping cart basket in the right hand side column of the online store or the link to "View Cart" in the top menu navigation bar. When the link to "Checkout" is clicked on, it will take you directly to the secure checkout for completion of the purchase.

How do I check the shipping cost on my items?
The shipping cost of your order will depend on your location and the value of your order. The shipping costs will be added to your order total before we process payment, they include a small packaging fee to cover costs. As a guide within Australia, a standard letter has a minimum postage of A$4.20. Orders over A$30.00 will be A$12.10 due to weight or "thickness" of the parcel, and so we can track your parcel.

Express Post within Australia is A$10.35 for a A5 Letter, A$15.60 - 500 gram satchel, A$20.00 - 1kg satchel, A$24.25 - 3 kg satchel and A$31.45 - 5kg satchel.

We send all Australian orders over A$30.00 by Parcel Post and orders over A$80.00 by Express Post. This allows parcels to be tracked and provides a greater level of protection for both customers and us.

International orders will be mailed in the most economical airmail post. If the cost of postage is less than the calculated cost we will refund the difference. If you wish to insure the parcel (at your expense) please let us know at the time of ordering.

Do you have a Wishlist?
Our store does not maintain a separate Wishlist but, if you are logged in to your account then any items you add to your Shopping Cart will be remembered for the next time you visit the store, even if you don't go ahead with your order today. Find out about setting up an account here

How do I know my order has been received?
Once an order is received to the site owners administration, you will receive an order confirmation email to the address you entered during the sites secure checkout.

You can check the status of your order by clicking into the "Order Tracking" section via the link on the top menu navigation bar.

My order never arrived
All efforts are made to ensure that our parcels are packaged securely, addressed correctly and carry the appropriate postage. Once your parcel leaves The Crewel Gobelin we are in the hands of the postal services.
The Crewel Gobelin takes no responsibility for items once they have left our store. We do not accept any liability if your products go missing or have been damaged in transit. We recommend that you ask for Express Post delivery if you require to track your parcel.

If your order has not been received within the time originally stated in the checkout or what you deem to be reasonable, please contact The Crewel Gobelin via the "contact us" page or by phone. We will do our best to check/ confirm the postage details.

When will my backorder arrive?
Your item will be received within the time frame recommended on the product page of the item when it was purchased. If the item is later than expected, please contact the site owner via the "contact us" page.

How do I create an account?
In the right side column of the online store you will see a members box. In this box you can click on the link to go to the secure log in or account creation page. Once you have created the account, you can use this for future purchases where the items you place in your basket will be remembered even if you leave this online store and come back later.
If you are a member with a discount for all purchases, you will need to log in first to ensure the discount is applied to your purchase.

On the edit page of your account, found via the "Members" box, there is a link called "Forgotten your password? Click here." This is where you can have your password emailed directly emailed to you.

Do you ship to my country?
We offer regular and Express Post within Australia and New Zealand. We also ship internationally but only to select countries.

When will my order ship and what are my shipping charges?
If your order's items are in stock they will generally be shipped within 2-3 business days. If we are waiting on a delivery of an item from our suppliers and we know the item will arrive soon there may be a delay. If the item(s) are not in stock we will contact you.

What is your Returns Policy?
When purchasing from The Crewel Gobelin please review your order carefully as we do not refund or exchange if you have a change of mind about your purchase. To protect the interests of our designers, exchange or refund is not available on books, charts and kits. This also applies to custom finished items, special orders and fabric cut to your specifications, these items cannot be returned unless there is a fault in the product. Special orders once placed cannot be changed. You will be asked to provide a deposit if you wish us to order any items especially for you. If you change your mind and decide not to go ahead with the order the deposit is non-refundable. If a product is faulty, please return it to us along with your docket within 14 days of purchase for a full refund or replacement. There are no returns or exchange on discounted and sale goods. If items have been marked down due to an imperfection it will be identified as such.
